Police in Albuquerque, New Mexico, made an unusual arrest over the weekend they took a man into custody for attacking a small statue.
Karim Jaekel, 40, is charged with aggravated assault after police say he entered the Peace and Justice Center on Harvard near UNM Saturday with two knives.
Witnesses say he was dressed in robes, speaking in tongues and stabbing a figurine he has holding.
Jaekel then ran across the street into a clothing store. No one was hurt. He remains in jail.
