A 21-year-old woman from Watertown, New York has been arrested on multiple charges after she intentionally killed 12 gold fish belonging to her roommate and damaged personal property.

It is alleged that Jessica L. Baughman intentionally damaged a wooden structure, valued at $20 belonging to the victim Vera E. Nichols.

Baughman was also arrested on the Aggravated Cruelty to Animals charge when she, with no justifiable purpose, intentionally killed 12 goldfish belonging to Nichols.

She removed the goldfish from their tank and placed them into a frying pan, where she cooked them on the stove until they were all deceased.

Baughman was booked into the Jefferson County Jail and charged with aggravated cruelty to animals, second-degree harassment, and fourth-degree criminal mischief. Her bond was set at $2,000.

Are the cops going to go to Red Lobster next and arrest the chef for throwing live lobsters into boiling water?
