27-year-old Emmanuel Alfredo Tadeo was charged with cruelty to animals, aggravated assault, and aggravated battery last month in Georgia after he allegedly kicked his 40-year-old girlfriend’s Pomeranian to death … and then beat her with its dead body.
A disagreement between Tadeo and his girlfriend, Andrea Armintrout, escalated out of control, causing Tadeo to take the dog outside Armintrout’s condo and kick it repeatedly.
Armintrout scooped up her Pomeranian and brought it inside.
Tadeo reportedly followed her back inside, took the dog back, and continued to kick it.
Once he was done with the dog, he then began beating her with the dead dog’s body.
In a bizarre twist, Armintrout was subsequently booked on obstruction charges for refusing to cooperate with investigators.
Both suspects remained at Fulton County Jail as of Monday night.
“The animal was a small animal, totally defenseless; it’s just a very, very cruel act,” said Sandy Springs Police Capt. Steve Rose.
