41-year-old Tiffanie Crabtree from Illinois went to a business to apply for a job. She didn’t find work but got arrested instead for allegedly absconding with an employee’s purse.
Crabtree of Benton was arrested Sunday after the theft from the unidentified business in West City.
Franklin County prosecutors have charged Crabtree with felony retail theft.
She remained jailed in Benton on Tuesday.
