A dealership in Florida is offering a $1,000 reward to anyone with information about the theft of a set of monster truck tires from a vehicle on the business’ front lawn.

James Way, owner of North River Auto Sales in Bradenton, said that he 1977 black Ford monster truck had been on his lot for less than a month when a friend noticed the tires missing on Wednesday.

Way said it would have taken at least three or four men to remove each of the $900 tires and load them into a large truck or trailer.

“This was a big operation,” Way said. “This didn’t take just 2 minutes. They had to be here for an hour.”

Way said his own security cameras were not working at the time of theft, but he is hoping camera from nearby businesses may have caught some of the action.

The Manatee County Sheriff’s Office said deputies were investigating. They said no fingerprints were recovered.
