33-year-old Gregory John Schaffer from New Jersey has been accused of raping a teen after tricking her into thinking she was getting a job at Victoria’s Secret and having her sign a sex contract.

Police say that Schaffer saw an ad on Craigslist posted by a 15-year-old girl looking for a summer job. He contacted her and told her that he owned several Victoria’s Secret stores and wanted to conduct an interview.

After he received a photo of the teen, he arranged for her to meet him at his office inside a building he shared with a bail bondsman and a disbarred lawyer. The girl arrived with a friend but was interviewed by Schaffer behind a closed door. Afterwards he informed her that she got the job and to return alone the next day prepared to work.

She arrived the next day and Schaffer handed her some papers to sign, explaining they were an employment contract and confidentiality agreement. After she signed them both without reading, Schaffer explained that what she had really signed was a sex contract.

He told the teen that by law, if she did not let him photograph her naked and have sex with him, that he could have her grandmother thrown in jail for breach of contract. After making the gullible teen model lingerie and bathing suits, he raped her on his desk.

He told her that if she said anything to anyone, he would press charges against her grandmother, tell police she was having underage sex with her boyfriend, and he would publish her nude photos online.

When the girl got home, she told her boyfriend what happened and he went to police. When investigators raided the office building where Schaffer “worked,” they found cameras, sex toys, handcuffs, and condoms. At the residence he shared with his wife and son, they found evidence that this girl may not be his only victim — photos of other teen girls wearing lingerie and swimsuits.

Schaffer is described as a grifter by some and in fact did not own any Victoria’s Secret stores. He also has a handful of lawsuits against him, served time in jail for theft, and likes to represent himself as a Navy SEAL.

He is currently in jail without bail.
