A woman accused of calling her boyfriend a “(female genitalia) boy” while drunk in the parking lot of the Martin County Sheriff’s Office and jail faces charges.

Stacy Frontera, 49, also is accused of expectorating on two deputies during the April 28 rumpus in Stuart.

A deputy walking through the sheriff’s office and jail parking lot at about 2:40 p.m. heard a woman yell “(female genitalia) boy.”

The deputy saw Frontera approaching a man in the back of a parked pick-up truck. She yelled obscenities. The 54-year-old man ducked away from Frontera, who noticed the deputy approaching.

Frontera kept yelling at the man and said he was trying to kill himself with a pen. A “P” was written in red ink on his shirt.

He said he planned to write “(female genitalia) boy” because that’s what his girlfriend was calling him.

Frontera, he said, was intoxicated and wouldn’t let him be. The deputy asked Frontera if she considered her behaviour appropriate.

She said, “Yes.”

The deputy queried Frontera as to whether she was aware people were around and that she was in the jail parking lot.

“I don’t give a (expletive),” she said. Frontera was arrested, and investigators reported she tried to pull away and spat on two deputies.

The 54-year-old man said they were at the jail to visit a friend.

Investigators saw Busch beer cans in the truck, and Frontera’s blood alcohol content was nearly three times the legal limit to drive.

Frontera, of Jupiter, was arrested on charges including disorderly intoxication, resisting arrest without violence, assault on a law enforcement officer and two counts of battery on a law enforcement officer.
