A homeowner in Hazard, Kentucky says that a man came into his house and poured a bowl of cereal.
Mark Copeland walked into the kitchen of his family’s home in East Bernstadt and saw 36-year-old Michael White looking into the refrigerator.
Copeland said he put White on the couch and called police.
Copeland said he is a truck driver and the only reason he was home Monday was because a load he was scheduled to haul was cancelled.
White – who Copeland dubbed “the Cocoa Krispies Bandit” – was charged with public intoxication, resisting arrest, giving a false name or address, criminal mischief, and failure to comply with sex offender registration.
