Police said an dimwitted robber in Ohio showed his ID to a store clerk – moments before he pulled out a handgun and demanded the money from the register.

Xenia police said that 21-year-old Hanson Price showed his driver’s license to the clerk at the United Dairy Farmer’s just after midnight March 30 to purchase a 59-cent Black and Mild Cigar and paid with a $1 bill.
He then drew his 9mm Lugar handgun and demanding the money from the register.
Investigators said that Price, who fled with $72, was soon arrested and the gun was recovered from the west side of South Miami Avenue.
Price, who was jailed in lieu of $100,000 bond, was charged with aggravated robbery with a firearm. If convicted, he would face a minimum three year prison sentence, police said.
