Pennsylvania police have said that a man who won $2,500 at a casino discovered that his luck had changed when he found himself under arrest for drug charges.
Investigators said that workers at the Philadelphia Park Racetrack & Casino in Bucks County swiped the ID of Mateen “Jay” Johnson, 34, when he attempted to cash out his $2,500 in blackjack winnings on Saturday.
They then called police when they saw he had a warrant for his arrest on drug charges.
Police soon arrived and took Johnson back to Blair County, where he was wanted on charges stemming from two cocaine deliveries he is accused of making an alleged dealer.
Johnson told police he went to the casino in an attempt to raise bail money. However, he was jailed in lieu of a $100,000 cash bond.
His next gamble will be in the courthouse…
