Some people crash in the most inconvenient places.

Chicago Police said no one was injured when an intoxicated man crashed his vehicle into the wall of the Gresham District police station.

Police said there was only minor damage to the building early Monday when Andrew Walker, 36, drove his 1987 Chevy Caprice onto the sidewalk and struck the concrete wall before driving away from the scene.

Chicago Police News Affairs Officer Amina Greer said Walker was pulled over about a block away from the police station and arrested on charges of driving under the influence and leaving the scene of an accident where property damage occurred.
